On Friday, January 27 the
Teresian Sisters of Louisiana joined together to celebrate the Feast of St.
Henry de Osso, our Founder. The STJ Associates of Louisiana and some
friends joined them for a mass celebrated by Fr. Thomas Perrier, OSB.
At the end of mass, Mr. James Valenti, DRE of Annunciation School in
Bogalusa, made his first commitment as an STJ Associate. Kathy
Gonzales, Maxine Resweber and Ethel Ganucheau renewed their commitments as
STJ Associates. Following the mass everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal
in the cafeteria. |

James Valenti is
better known as Mr. V to the students at Annunciation Catholic School in
Bogalusa, LA. He is DRE of the school and teaches most of the
religion classes at the school. He is definitely a favorite teacher
for many students. During the 4 years that the Teresians have
staffed ACS, Mr. V has grown in his love for St. Teresa and St. Henry.
It was only natural to invite him to join our family as he strives to make
Jesus known and loved.  |
