JUNE 12 - 17
We continued our
work but this time without any outside help, because we are trying to do
produce a framework among ourselves on how we wish to organize our chapter.
|
But... as it is not all work we share with
you two beautiful outings we had to opportunity
to make.
Sunday afternoon we went to the
Desert of the Palms, near Castellon.
|

|
We were cordially received by
the Carmelite Prior who gave us a tour of the Convent,
after which we visited the Hermitage of St. Teresa and there
contemplating
the same scenery that inspired our Founder Father, we celebrated the Holy
Eucharist
Then we went to Castellon
where we had the opportunity of witnesses
the great hospitality of our sisters in this Community.
They invited us to supper and treated us graciously to many other things.
On another day we were told
not to have the outing on Sunday so that there
would be fewer people around, we went to
Valencia.
We visited the Oceanografico,
a gigantic aquarium with fishes from all over the world. We enjoyed the
spectacle of the dolphin
and then we went to admire magnificent construction of the Science Place,
the hemisphere and the Arts Place. A whole complex of super modern and
beautiful buildings.
We ate our snacks on the
beach...
|
...and we continued visited the old section
of Valencia, guided by two professors
from the school, the tower, the blessed Virgin,
the Cathedral, the exchange, the Palace of
Marques de Dos Aguas...and the Municipal Government Building everything
looked beautiful.
