Mercedes Prat was beatified on April 29, 1990. The Society of St. Teresa of Jesus offers the following prayer for her intercession:
 

Lord Jesus Christ, strength of those who put their humble trust in you, we give you thanks for the strength which you gave to Blessed Mercedes, enabling her to shed her blood in generous fidelity to you through her vocation as a Sister of the Society of St. Teresa. Grant that, like her, we may joyfully and lovingly do all that you ask of us in our daily lives. May she soon be canonized as a saint of the Church; through her intercession, grant us the special grace we now ask. Amen.
